AVG is best hands down, you get all the features you need with trail edition which by the way dosent have a limit. For example you can do complete memory scans, and as soon as you get a virus you can get rid of it. Very helpful and user friendly

avast is nice xD BUT AVG free though its free it is more powerful than some of those licensed version

Well you can always download trial versions, just set your clock back when you want to do a scan. (You should do a scan about once a week after your trial expires)
