Codemasters Online Gaming is pleased to announce that ArchLord is moving to Free To Play. Every ArchLord player will now be able to enjoy the excitement and danger of Chantra for free; all you need to do is buy the game.
ArchLord will continue to see fantastic content updates as well as its usual extensive PvP battles. Players will receive 3,000 credits on creation of a new account, or will be reset to 3,000 credits when ArchLord moves free to play. This is to ensure that players all start on a level playing field.
This is an exciting opportunity for ArchLord and one we expect to bring in lots of new players so I think all players can look forward to even more large scale PvP battles.

What if I buy ArchLord after ‘4th December’?

If you purchase after 4th December, please don’t worry, you will still be able to play ArchLord for FREE. This is because the ArchLord retail box gives you 30 days of playtime for free, which means by the time you have finished your 30 days, you will no longer need to pay a subscription, as the subscription will have been removed.

What’s happening with the credits?

We are currently finalizing some of the backend details for the ArchLord credit system. We shall announce full details nearer the December 23 when all the new systems will be implemented. However, players can expect to see their credit balance reset on November 23 to ensure that all players are able to start on a level playing field.

These will be converted to credits also. You shall receive 8,000 credits for your first card and 10,000 for every additional card after that.

Please don’t worry, your Game Time Card isn’t useless. Please hang on to the card until December 23, as from this date onwards Game Time Cards will be converted to credits. Meaning when you purchase a Game Time Card from most major video game retailers, you will actually be purchasing Credits, for use in the Chantra shop.

If I use Game Time Cards as my method of subscription, how will I be refunded?

We are unable to refund Game Time subscribers at retail. Instead, on 23 November when everyone’s credit limit is reset to 3,000, we will be compensating Game Time Card users with an additional 5.000 credits for their first Game Time Card. For every card after this players will receive 10,000 credits.
