Teachers on strike! :O

Hey, in England, the teachers are on strike.

We get to miss school today! (woo).

Just wondered, are any people who live in England also missing school today?

Also, I wondered if any other countries are involved?

1. 	no teachers here in Australia are on strike currently, but they do from time to time. usually for better conditions and pay. What are they on strike for over there?
