Along the front lines...

One day, I decide to play a game, that I rather enjoy. I load it up through the website, and get ready to play with other plays in a complete free for all. We get our guns ready to slaughter each other in a bloody conquest to rank to the top of the player list, with the most amount of kills, while attaining the least amount of deaths possible. I figure it's going to be a fun game, so I type "Good Luck" to the rest of the players. Almost immediately I get a cheerful response, "You're mom had good luck last night!" That's when I remember the true nature to this game, slaughter the enemies and ignore the comments left after every death. So I, being the cheerful person I am *Cough* decided to let it slide, and take it out in the game. I start out, and lucky me the first person I find is the person who threw the insult at me without warning. So, as the normal player would, I shot him. Almost instantly, I get a comment. "You stupid lagger, get off dial up!" I disregarded the comment, for when I looked at the scored board, he had a 10x slower connection to the server than I. So I continue along the game, and almost every person who lost would say "noob" or (Excuse the language, but i'm only quoteing directly from the game) "*****." I simply laughed and went on my way, but i'm starting to get peeved when other players can't respect someone for their skills. I've been playing this game for an extended amount of time, and sometimes I feel as if it's all to waste, for no one will respect my online accomplishments... What has the world come to, if instead of learning from you'res or other's mistakes, all we do is repeat them in order to hurt others? Sometimes I wonder weather to completely give up on games, and worry more about my schoolwork, which is in an extremely deep hole.
