Ok I decided to make this Tut cause of some reasons.....

1. Locate your Valve File.

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\(accountname)\counter-strike\cstrike\models

This is where you put your .mdl files.

2. You may get Sounds with your skins if this happens......
Locate your Sounds File.

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\(accountname)\counter-strike\cstrike\sound\weapons

This is where you put your Sound files....

3. Player Files....
If you download new Models for players such as Gign,Gsg9,Sas,Urban

Ok first.....locate your "player" folder in your valve folder.

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\(accountname)\counter-strike\cstrike\models\player

Now make 8 folders...
gign
gsg9
sas
urban
leet
terror
guerilla
arctic

Now if you get a Player model skin it'll end like this (most likely) urban.mdl

e.g Put urban.mdl into your Urban folder now you should have that model you wanted as a urban.

4.Shield Files

Ok these are only for pistols if you ever see a _shield file place it here. (Into the Shield Folder)

which one is the one for gun skins im lost

The one for the guns are the .mdl files. Put them in the Models Section and if you have Gun Sounds put them at the

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\(accountname)\counter-strike\cstrike\sounds\weapons

You may have to make the folder (cause I did).

alright i went here C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\(accountname)
\condition zero\czero\models

do i put it there

in teh custom weapons folder or players folder or what or yeah

p.s. talking about gun SKINS

First put all your ".mdl" files in your "model" folder....

If you have sounds with your gun put it in "weapons" located at the "sound" folder.

NOTE: If you don't have a "weapons" folder make one.

E.G I have "glock18.mdl"

Put it in the "models" folder

*Puts "glock18.mdl" into the "models" folder*

Ok now you will have the model unless it's the skin is only for CS 1.6.

Some CS 1.6 skins work in CZ and some CZ skins work in CS 1.6.

Sounds

E.G I have "glock18.wav"

I have to put it into the "weapons" folder located at the "sound" folder.

*Puts "glock18.wav" into the "weapons" folder which is at the "sounds" folder.

Sorry but I couldn't edit the post, I found out some new stuff.

To Set Hand Skins: Download a hand skin and you'll get a .bmp file. For instance, you have "BF-Sleeve.bmp" put this file in your "cstrike" folder or "czero" depending on your game.

I found out other stuff such as gun models.

V=View
W=World View
P=Player View

Player just means you see the gun in your friends hands.
W is like the gun on the floor and you see it.
View is just.....you can see the gun in your FPS thing.
