Hey, just saw the movie too, mine was in english, for those of you who are confused, I guess I'll give you a summary of the game. Everything starts in midgar (town where bahumut [dragon] is fought). Cloud (spiky hair, big sword) is going with Barret (guy with gun hand) to a mako reactor to destroy it. (mako reactors harness the lifestream for energy, like nuclear reactors in real life) been a while, i dont remember the motive, but they wanna take down SOLDIER and the big company there. After they destroy it, they meet Tifa in the bar and Marlene, Barrets daughter. Cloud meets Aeris in the slums runs from SOLDIER troops. The next part isn't important, they just go to the upper city of Midgar and learn some useless junk, and meet Red XII (red tiger thing). They then have to leave the city. They travel until getting to Juno, pretend to be SOLDIER members and get on boat to Costa Del Sol. You run into Kujo and his thugs, nothing important here. See red's home, go to Cloud and Tifa's hometown. They have a storytelling session about their lives. They also have flashbacks here about when Cloud was with Sephiroth and SOLDIER. They travel through the mountains nearby and find that sephiroth is Jenova's son. They can't figure the stuff out but it's obvious. They then travel to another city, run into Reno and the thugs again, meet Cid who joins them. You travel to oriental type island at some point and meet yuffie. Randomly places Mako Reactors teach you that the by product of life stream usage is materia, their source of using magic, the movie had some of this, crystal shiny orbs. Obviously this is a play by play, there are too many details to fit on this. After a while you travel north. You go through the city of the ancients and learn all about Cloud. He is part of Sephiroth, he is not actually Cloud, he is like a clone or something, its never very clear. Sephiroth controls Could to make him kill Aeris. Sephiroth starts tying himself to the lifestream, so whenever the planet is attacked, he becomes stronger as the lifestream heals the planet. We find that Sephiroths father (test tube father) is Kujo, mad scientist ordeal. Kind of a Jackle-Hide thing here, but wierd monsters. He has made a giant gun too, that will fire all mako energy at Sephiroth on north pole, making him pretty much invincible. Gun goes off, huge crater, Sephiroth tried calling a meteor on the Earth to make even more energy. Your party flies into the crater and fights sephiroth. Here you fight all his forms, one of which has the wings from the movie. After you kill him the meteor begins to hit the earth and the lifestream gathers to form a barrier and save everyone. Everyone goes back to Midgar and they live hapily ever after, until the movie.

In the movie, the three bad guys were basically weak children of Sephiroth. When the one obsorbed Jenova's DNA, he took on her power. She is extremely powerful but not exactly agile, she is like an octopus on land. Basically once he takes in his "mother's" power, he becomes Sephiroth. Sephiroth is a legend, impossible to kill. If anyone has played Kindom Hearts of FF7, they know. He has amazing powers but so does Cloud. After Sephiroth is killed, all of the Jenova cells are gone so Sephiroth cannot be remade. Aeris calls on the planet's core, and the lifestream's source, Holy. Makes it rain super healing water and the disease of Jenova's cells is gone. There you go, FF7 in a nutshell, one really big nutshell. Hope this helps someone.

well guys...... its original from jap so watch it in jap sound would be much more cooler and those mix sound are ghey... like example : inuyasha / naruto / bleach / rumbling hearts / etc.... they put a english version / chinese version sound it look so dam|\| ghey......

lol, its Kadaj the manhoe xD!!! Be glad you had the japanese version, they messed up everyones voices in the english one... I got pissed off at it and had to turn it off.
