Final Fantasy Tactics Advance+Hacks (DLL)

I was playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance on my computer (from hereon in referred to as FFTA), and I decided to hack it. I started up Cheat Engine, attached to VBA, and started hacking. Now I'm sure plenty of you have used Cheat Engine before to hack other games; it's pretty popular for maple story and was pretty popular for GunZ for a while. Also, most game "trainers" are created by CE (those little programs where you press hotkeys and it changes values). After a while, I got to know my way around the game and decided to make it a bit easier to use. I built it into a DLL with my friend wowus, and now the first release is (sort of) ready.

For those of you who haven't used a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) before for game hacking, it's basically just a bunch of commands we want the game to run. Included are instructions on how to work it.

Also. PLEASE distribute it (with all of our files still intact. Gives us credit), please tell people about it, please link people here, and please get people to add us and email us (even if it's just to say thanks or nice job)! We need to know how many people are using it, because if it's not a lot, we're not going to continue with this.

If you want another game hacked, we'll try ASAP. Games we have include Metroid Fusion/Zero Mission, Golden Sun 1&2, and almost all the Pokémon games.

Make sure you extract the DLL & accompanying execs to the same folder as the .FFTA.GBA

Also if you have any simple concerns like "The link doesn't work", post them here instead of emailing them.

the game is a gameboy advance game. It's called Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Bear in mind I'm not technically advising you to download this game, say from a gameboy advance ROM site.. that would be illegal, and I don't endorse that =P

Its so boring playing GBA. Im sick of it but its fun when you are hella bored.

downloading this game as a rom IS NOT ILLEGAL if you own a copy of it in real life =), and also these games are very easy to hack off of emulators since no hack gaurd, but what i dont get is how do you make a program where it lets you select wich ones you want to value change without giving them a flat ce. i mean like so they can ONLY use it on that game. if you tell me how i will thank you =) or if you send me a link that shows how =)

This is a myth. You may NOT download a copy of the game if you own a legal version. You MAY however, CREATE your own ROM from your legal version (but not download it from somebody else)

err I'm not sure what you're talking about in the second part.. another reason to type a bit more coherently, but I THINK you're asking me how to make hacks in a format other than a CT? Well learn some C/C++ and build a DLL that will access the memory addresses and change the values

you would have to make a trainer in the same way you would for any pc game.

yeah. I personally prefer the DLL method because it requires... code.. and it's more flexible (mainly because of the code), but a trainer works too, especially for smaller hacks. But if you want to choose with character to edit which stat for? It gets hard with a trainer (unless it's got a huge list of hotkeys and options)
