[NEW!] GZMap - A New Map Maker!

Thats right everyone, You have read the title correctly! There is finally a way to make your own GunZ maps instead of just modifying textures!

So, I bet your wondering how to start making your own maps? Well, Continue reading!

First, Download the binary from here.

Now, Download and install GTKRadiant from here
And then Extract GZMap binary release into the GTKRadiant folder.

Next, Download the radiocity processor fsrad (so you can create lightmaps) from one of these two mirrors.

Mirrior 2
Extract this archive into the folder where you installed GTKRadiant.

Then, Download the GTKRadiant GunZ Online settings:
Mirrior 1
Mirrior 2
Extract these IN the folder where you installed GTKRadiant.

Download the basic gamedata scripts and materials:
Mirrior 1
Mirrior 2
Extract this file to any folder you want, say:
C:\GunZMaps\
This will be your working folder, it's recommend maps are created in the data/maps folder.

Now the last thing you have to do is Start GTKRadiant and select GunZ Online as game and Configure path to point to where you created your working folder. Then you can enjoy this wonderful map maker!

Few Notes From The Creator!
When you Compile large maps its slow.
Large maps create FPS lag In-Game.
So, You should just stick to small maps for now.

does this work for ijji gunz? or only gunz online?

w/e sight u leeched this from its REALLY REALLY old. u have to have the map added into ur mrs, meaning ud need to u the crc. and even if u did do that other people wouldnt be able to join ur new map. gamelordquest plz close this. EDIT: hes also using external downloads and didnt say which version of gunz. somone test this out. it could work but i really doubt it.

this is to create maps for example for your own pserver... External downloads is no problem external links is... like a link to the forum he got it from but he only used download links... For everymap you create a new MRS btw and you only have to add one line in your system.mrs... So no this isnt going to be closed infact i move this to the General section where it gets stickied...

I copied it to the Maps section too if you dont mind...

ok well heres the thing every time i try to go make my map it just gliches and i have a good enough comp dell xps my cards and everything are higher then needed and its just the crapy program so idk wat to say

First of all this wont work on IJJI except if you got your own bypasser but then no one would be able to JOIN your map UNLESS they will have it aswell.

Now that is the funniest noob post i have ever seen.

There is a damned tutorial a few scrolls above and you are asking how this works? And then you have NO IDEA why these kinda posts get deleted lol

lol @ you Demonite... This is mostly to create maps for your own private server and i heard IjjI is coming up with a new event where you must create your own map and the best wins... im not sure though...
