I haver this same problem and all I do is just open it back up and the second time it works fine.

i think tis the prob wif the patch it wont work well wif the head gear and the npc.mrs u go check mlog.txt in gunz folder i suspect that gunz gave us the wrong patch? but others could work so i dunno tried everything manual patch and stuffs nothing works
EDIT: i think ive got a way. after u load gunz for the first time and gets the error... dun send it deny it then go to gunz folder .. go to the folder named (ReportError) and delete all the files in there then load gunz it should work press the thnx button it it does and if the second time doesnt work try the third it sould work by now
