It started with Korean GunZ.
Before the GunZ was officially launched they invited a specific group of korean players to test both their server and the game. The third player that was invited and stayed very long and even became admin was GunTriX. After a great success in Korea MAIET Japan released their even better server after taking over the server in Korea. Both countries were doing so well that they started developing an international server that was supposed to become so big that the Korean and Japanese server could be closed. But loads of people refused to play the server becouse the international server lagged to them. The Premium items released in the national servers were hidden in the international server becouse they still had difficulties with the currency and the server. After the international server LevelUp Games buyed the server files from MAIET to create a Brazilian and Indian server. MAIET made up a contract stating that they are still in control. After a while NHN Games noticed the great animo for GunZ and offered MAIET to host GunZ on their servers. MAIET Agreed and made up a contract stating the money NHN makes with GunZ MAIET recieves 35% of their profits. When this deal was closed GunTriX announced that he is Leaving MAIET as a member of the Staff team. NHN Games translated all files and unlocked all premium items making the beginning of IjjI GunZ.

The server files being leaked is another story. Namely one of the developer at MAIET shared it and made his own private server. The server didnt last for long and the files were spread on the internet. The server was stopped after MAIET found out and the developer quit. Not long after MAIET hired him back as head developer becouse of his skills as developer. LG GunZ was not the first second or third server. It actually was the fifth.
