1) Introduction to GunZ
GunZ is an online game that was produced out the idea of enabling
you to realize such a dream! GunZ is not simply a simulation game of a gun
fight. It allows you to imitate a famous hero, create your own fashion, and
perform a number of different actions such as shooting or stabbing while
running or jumping on the walls.
What makes GunZ more interesting than other games is the fact that the game

2) (Basic) Advanced Techniques
======================================
2-1) Jump-Dashing
This move allows you to move much faster than your regular running or n00bish tumbling. It's not very difficult and once u master it you'll be jumping around the maps like bugs bunny.
With this move, you will be zooming around with your sword/dagger. So take that out. Start moving forward and then jump while holding down you forward key, then dash. Once you land, continue holding down forward and then repeat the jump-dash-land manuver. You can manipulate the move to go in any direction.
2-2) Cancelling
This is a requirement of the following techniques. The slash of a melee weapon "cancels" the delay required to perform another dash or jump or anything of the sort. To cancel, simply slash your melee weapon when you wish to rid yourself of the delay of something, like the delay of movement after you jump off of a wall, or `right` after a dash.
2-3) Continuous Jump-Dash
This move allows you to move very fast and stay in the air for longer. It's just like jump-dashing but it keeps you in the air.
First, jump and then dash in a direction. Cancel by slashing your sword and then dash again. When you finally hit the ground after a few dashes, repeat it over and over again. This can evolve into a slashshot or a half step.
2-4) Multiple Wall JUMPING
This move allows the user to pretty much "fly" around the map. You may have seen some people jump off walls and then dash back in midair and do it again. That is multiple wall jumping. You can accomplish many things with this, and its also fun to show off with.
First find a wall to jump off of, and then take out your melee weapon (sword/kodachi/dagger), Dash towards the wall, slash it, jump off of it, cancel, and then dash back, slash, and jump again. Doing this repedetively gives you the "flying" effect.
2-5) Multiple Wall Running
This manuver allows you to walk entire walls of a map like the town map. Its also useful for getting across large pits like the one on the sides of the bridge in the castle map.
Find a wall to run on, dash towards it, wall run, and when you jump off, cancel the delay, dash back towards the wall, and wallrun while you are above the ground.. Practicing this in mansion is a good way of mastering it, or across the bridge area in castle while in training mode.

3) Advanced Offensive Techniques
====================================
3-1) Butterfly Step
This is a fine and useful move which allows you to attack AND block at the same time, and gives you ample time to switch to you weapon, preferably a shotgun, and blast his head off.
This is a fairly easy move but requires good timing and fast hands. First get out you melee weapon. Then jump, dash forward, slash, and block immediately afterwards. Practice this along walls to see if you are getting your slash in the manuver.
3-2) Slashshot
Ahh, the good old slash shot. This move allows you to slash and shoot at the same time, while at the same time allowing you to move fast or do whatever you please. This move is a little difficult to aim with, but once you master it, it is damn deadly.
First take out your melee weapon. Jump, dash forward, slash and HOLD DOWN YOUR MOUSE BUTTON, switch to desired weapon QUICKLY, and you will automatically shoot. There is a variation of this which is the half step, and ill talk about that later. To practice this move, go to the town map and slashshoot those doors and windows while moving around.
3-3) Half Step
This is a variation of the slashshot but allows you more flexibility so you can move in any direction you want.
Take out your melee as usual, and then jump, dash forward, slash, hold down slash button, dash in another direction, and then switch weapons with your gun. You will auto-fire on your target.

4) Strategies/Hints/Tips

4-1) Charge
Always charge your melee wep when you are hiding from an opponent who was chasing you. You can then jump out when you see him coming. You can know if he is coming by the strategy below.
4-2) Angles
If you are standing behind a wall corner, move your mouse so you can see what is coming along the side of the wall. Your character wont move but you'll see whats coming. When s/he is close, you can jump out and slashshoot that mofo to hell.
4-3) Weapon Combos
Test a few weapons by buying the cheapest of the type. A good combination is one which the weapons compliment each other. A goot combo for people who can use the advanced techniques well is shotgun/revolver. For the people who like to go long range, the rife/revolver or pistol may be good for you. Try out a few different combos and go for what suits u best.
4-4) Teamwork
In a team game, if you see a weak person in your team, follow him and back him up... Even though he may not be good, 1 less person in your team is still a big disadvantage.
4-5) Kill Stealing (KSing)
Although people say it is a cheap tactic, its their fault they didnt kill the person fast enough
. If you see 2 people fighting, go in and start shooting like crazy. You are almost sure to get a kill. If it look dangerous, wait until 1 kills the other and kill the survivor because he is probably low on health.
4-6) Stunning
Many people think this is a *** way to kill, but its easy to counter, but a lot of people cant. If you are a sissy and are scared of being called a wimp, dont use this. Stun the opponent and shoot him while hes down. Another way is whack him into the air and spray him from below. If hes alive when he falls, just shoot him more.
4-7) MEDIKITS
In any game, medikits are a must have. They can save you when you are an inch from death. I myself have the level 40 medikit. It has 4 medipacks so it heals me 40 hp. i have 2 kits so i get 80 hp back... this is almost full for me.. you can even help out your teammates with these. Repair kits **** though, so dont get them.
4-8) Shotgun
Shotguns do massive dmg.. Even the shotgun with 6 dmg does over 70 dmg total on 1 shot. 1 shell contains 12 bullets, which do 6 dmg each. So on one shot, you do 6*12 dmg which is 72. With the shotgun, aim for the stomach area, youll get the most bullets on him.
4-9) These Commands May Help Out of Game
Clan Commands
/clan open [Clan Name] [Member #1] [Member #2] [Member #3] [Member #4] - Start a new clan with promoter.
/clan close [Clan Name] - Close the clan currently open. Only the Clan Master can use this command.
/clan invite [character name] - Accept the designated character as a new member. Only the Clan Master or the clan operator can use this command.
/clan leave - Voluntarily withdraw from the clan. However, the clan master him(her)self cannot withdraw.
/clan dismiss [character name] - Force the designated character to secede from the clan. Only the Clan Master or the clan operator can use this command.
/clan promote [character name] [authority] - Change the authority of the selected character within the clan. Indicate "admin" or "member" in . (Ex: /clan promote David admin)
WARNING: "admin" is different with Clan Master.
/clan msg [message] - Enter a dialogue in the clan chatting channel. You can clan chat easily by attaching # in front of a dialogue when not using this command.
Friends Commands
/friend add [character name] - Add the relevant character as a friend.
/friend remove [character name] - Delete the character selected from the list of friends.
/friend list - Show the list of friends. This is very useful as it can be used within a game.
/friend msg - Send messages to your registered friends.
