AMD vs Intel

i wanna build my own custom PC, i was told that AMD processors and Intell processors each has their own advantages, could some1 tell me about them, and which one is better for a gaming PC.

Gaming PC, Both will do,

but if you're on a budget, go with AMD.

Overall, Intel pwns with their quad core processors, while AMD is good for budgets.

AMD = cheaper CPU and motherboard. Thats basically it, you will save about $50 on the bottom tier products.

However if your budget is about $1500, then go for Intel.

i personally prefer AMD.
Im still running on my AMD 3500+ (2.21ghz) single core, digging up games like COD4, CS:S, BF2/2412...

Yea i've had it for two years, and its amazing, dont care what you say lol.

At the moment, Intel has the performance advantage in every price range over AMD.

so wat u r saying that i dont need a duel core or a quad core processor to play the latest games like NFS: pro street or assassin's creed???
