That's top notch. | I don't think he knows what's a quad-core cpu, but it's not top notch IMO.
Get 1 more hard drive.. the GB's you have is not good if you're using it for movies/games etc.

Change your motherboard and buy a Core 2 Extreme 3.2 GHz processor if you're really willing to have an awesome computer. It's pricey though.
Oh, you should get a 64 bit OS to really take advantage of your ddr2.

Oh, you should get a 64 bit OS to really take advantage of your ddr2. | Ditto. You should also go ahead and buying either a 500/600GB HDD or go ahead and get a 1TB HDD. ( They aren't pricey, so I'd go for it. )

Then, noticing your resolution is on 1280x1024, I'd go for a bigger monitor if you can afford that too. If you want a decent size, but not too costly one, go for a 19", but if you want a huge one and can afford it, go for the 30" or dual 20"

I had searched for the quad core cpu for 3 month and you say i don't know what is quad core cpu. Come on, i'm not a noob like that. I have planned to buy quad core 3.0 ghz, 45nm but its so costly.

The reason it isn't 4GB is because your currently on a 32-bit based OS. 32-bit OS only recognizes RAM under 4GB. Base on your hardware your RAM will max out around 3GB-3.8GB.
And i would of prefer a 8800GT graphic card instead of the 9600GTO.
Your upgrade choices should depend of what your use your computer for. There no need to go with Intel Skulltrail if your not planning to use all of it performance.
What i would upgrade:
1. Hard Drive. 167GB is just BS o.o I recommend a 500GB at 7200RPM with 32MB cashe. Althought some of you might disagree but i have tested it. My 500GB 7200RPM with 32MB cashe runs same or faster then my 150GB 10,000RPM with 16MB (Western Digital Raptor X)
2. Get a 64-bit system if you don't mind the compatibility issues that some people face (I find ways around this problem usually.) This will allow you too have more then 4GB of RAM.
3. Base on your rating i would say your current RAM is at 533MHZ. That is just too slow for that built. Buy some 1066MHZ if your mobo can't handle 1066MHZ go for 800MHZ.
