I'd suggest anything from Corsair.

I would recommend that you get 3 extra 1GB DDR 3200 sticks so that you'll fill up the vacant RAM slots, however, looking at your current stick which happens to be a Samsung, I'm not sure if you can install the Corsair sticks, but if you can hunt down a 184 pin 533MHz version then you're doing well. Also, try clocking your Samsung stick at 533MHz to match up the speed.

You're a bit confused here: you don't need RAM, you need a new mainboard. Your current one is old (ancient, relic). I threw one away 3 years ago

And now about ram: you have to get the same firmware as your old one otherwise you risk to lose one of them. The system usually fails to recognise one or all the ram if they have different firmware.

Reccomended firmware - Kingston

The best i could find is this:

Kingston HyperX 2GB DDR 400MHz CL2 Dual Channel Kit:

2GB 400MHz DDR Non-ECC CL2 (2-3-2-6-1) DIMM (Kit of 2)

Type: DDR
Capacity: 2048 MB
Freq: 400 MHz
Kit Dual Channel: 2x 1024 MB
Latency CAS: 2 ns
Standard: PC3200
Others: Non-ECC

So this is definatly the best thing for you. DDR2 is out of the question because they won't work. Also don't go for Corsair. They have sucky RAM at that range.
At the moment, the best on the market is Mushkin if you care to buy for a NEW computer

all i'm goin to tell you is be carefull.. computers are "VERY" picky about what ram they will and will not take. for example i have my laptop has a max capacity of 4gb i had 1 1gb stick and one blank slot. so i was like what the hell i'll go buy a 2gb stick same brand same speed everything. put it in computer wouldn't boot... so i took out the 1 gb stick it works fine lol.... well then i decide i'll go buy another stick of that 2gb and that should give me the max 4gb however when i put it in the computer wont start... so i buy a different brand different speed just by some off chance it will work and tada 2 totally differet 2gb sticks and speeds work just fine..... moral of the story is be safe get what you know works if you can.. if not just put one in and hope for the best...

good link to find what ur computer can use Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com
