The breakdown...

Asus P5W DH Deluxe € 181,39 (Asus makes really great boards especially for OC'ing. 4 of my computers run on asus boards)

Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 2.93 MHz, 1066 MHz, Boxed € 831,09 (I read up on these babies pretty good stuff, although I'm a AMD fan )

Sapphire VGA Radeon X1900XT Crossfire 512 MB € 384,87

Sapphire VGA Radeon X1900 XTX 512 MB € 411,76

Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum Retail € 124,12

Thermaltake Voeding Toughpower Cable Management 700 Watt ActivePFC, Zwart, EPS12V, 20- En 24-pins € 109,78 (Nice way to keep it clean)

Samsung TFT SyncMaster 320P 32 Inch, 8 Ms, Speakers Optioneel, Zwart € 1247,06 (Nice pick I have a samsung as well except its 42inch)

Thermaltake Tai Chi Waterkoelingkast Zwart, Zilver, Geen Voeding, 2 X 120 Mm € 274,56

OCZ Memory Gold Gamer EXtreme XTC Dual Channel 2048 MB, PC8000, 1000 MHz, 5 € 236,42 ( Great choice I have a pair of these on my rig as well)

You have a really nice setup here! Get some Arctic Silver compound for your cpu to greatly reduce the heat of your cpu. If your really into gaming get the Nvidia Geforce series cards. I'm a ATI fan but I've been doing some looking and reviews and sadly the geforce are in the lead at the moment compared to ATI. ATI though has video quality that surpasses nvidia. So if you love media stick with your current setup. I'm just curious what case your going to get. Make sure to get an aluminum case. Can't remember right now but theres a good case by antec i believe thats aluminum and really quiet! If i have time i'll post it up.

Are you overclocking it? If so then your current chip is good.
But if you don't wanna risk it, get an good AMD chip

Have you read any Conroe vs AMD articles lately? http://www.anandtech.com/printarticle.aspx?i=2802
Conroe (Core 2 duo and Core 2 extreme) pwns AMDs [buttocks] and i think its sad, because i was a AMD fan and now i have to turn my back to them and buy myself a Conroe..

Btw, super nice rig, I on the other hand have to keep the costs down, meaning i wont get the X1900XTX for my rig T-T
