For those of you who aren't too sure what memory you need for your lovely computer here is a website and a freeware software you can use to help you what kind of memory your computer supports.
For those of you who dont have custom computers you can go to
www.pny.com/configurator and select the brand and model and it will tell you the specs of your machine and what type and maximum memory you can put on your system.
An overall good tool you can use to identify your memory/cpu speed etc. check out cpu-z here
