I have those two in my collection of like 15 types of gamer mice since 1995. I honestly prefer the G5, and it is worth the extra 7 dollars. It has a sturdier feel and feels better in your hand. Honestly think about it, it was made after the MX518, meaning better design from the feedback of the MX518

Out of those two, G5, I've seen one of my friend's and it definitely feels better than the MX518. If it fits your budget, you may like this mouse.

i have the mx518 its pretty good! But make sure when your buying these type of mouse intall the program that comes with the mouse if you dont you just bought a regular mouse.

im getting a 518 soon. My friends have told me the g5 is not that great.These are 2 great nice, it all comes down to how they feel.

MX518 ferrizeal.
I think i've heard that the G5 has some glitches?
Thats my only reasoning.
