This might be a little long
My friend BIOS wasn't working right and we both have the same motherboard (IP Pro35)
I used the Bios updater and flasher that came with the board.
But suddenly Blue Screen of Death
Now his BIOS is messed up and we all know what that means, can't boot up now...........
Me trying something new and risk, turn on my computer and upon the BIOS updater and flasher.
Before start I switched the BIOS chip with the messed up one. After is flashed everything seemed normal.
I tested both the BIOS chip they both work OK!!! (Test both chip on his computer)
But now my computer won't boot up????
It like the computer is Just on no POST no nothing....
I tried clearing the CMOS still nothing........
Anyone thing they can help?
the only option i could come up with is....... Sell my old board to him and buy myself a i780

i'll try looking into your problem. Gimme a day or so... i need to go sleep
OK so... i didn't go to sleep but i found This Helpful Link where they teach you how to flash your BIOS properly
Also the board has a BIOS reset button you can try pressing (although i guess you already pressed it...)
Also if you still have problems you can register an account on that forum and ask the guys there what to do (its their product so.. they should know)

Lol, that means that his BIOS updater (and flasher) is either faulty or has been programmed pretty badly by the manufacturer. The cause for your computer not booting is because the faulty BIOS chip your friend had probably passed on it's "symptoms" to your computer.
If you PM me, I'll supply you some tools to help you fix that problem.

It impossible i think. My motherboard isn't reacting to anything...... Even with a fully working BIOS chip.
I have found you why that BSOD appeared. The updated BIOS for the Abit Ip35 has bugs that causes BSOD.
BTW the BSOD appeared right after it deleted his BIOS, so he basically had a blank BIOS chip, which is impossible to boot up because the BIOS needs to boot up before anything. (I wouldn't be able to start up the flashing program)

Open up the tower, remove the motherboard battery (After removing the power cord for a minute) It will restart the Bios to the factory settings and firmware.

The problem was the motherboard itself. By removing the BIOS chip while the pc was still on must of caused some damage to the motherboard.
I replaced it with a 780i

What are you talking about program your own BIOs chip? You're trying to make your own BIOs firmware? Removing the chip has nothing to do with it. Removing it is a last resort. I've flashed many motherboards already, including mines twice.
