Body building is for appearance. People who body build consume a small amount of whey protein powder before they work out. It helps their muscles grow more than improving their strength. Without whey protein, your body would just look around the same, but you're getting stronger.

another thing to add;
if you want to look good, life small weights, ALOT.. like, more then you think you can do
if you just want to be stronger, life weights as heavy as you can

this info from my body dev teacher btw
and if you think about it, it makes sense.. by lifting small weights alot, you will be burning fat (the constant movement with extra weight) and gaining muscle (altho not as much
and just by lifting heavy, yr not burning as much fat (not movin as much) but just gaining alot of muscle

my regular ruitine is life heavy weights as much first, then do alot of small weights.. to burn off and look better
i see guys that only life heavy weights.. and they look fat o.0
so yeah.. just some hints

so yeah.. just some hints
for the 5000000000000 millionth time u cant burn fat and build muscle at the same time. If you do a lot of reps with smaller weight then you get muscle endurance (i think wrestlers do this so they dont tire out as fast. i dont know never wrestled.) If you do lower reps with heavier weight you get mass (bigger muscles. football players do this...i kno i was in football).

Also if ur diet is sh1t ur results will be the same.
