and i've been told that even though you have a lot of muscles, you won't be THAT strong.. and take a lot of hits..

well youll need muscle to take in the hits tto make your punch stronger is all in the technique like how fast you throw your fist how much your nuckles stick out etc also train to get much endurance

I know as a fact to strengthen your fist you must punch hard objects, this will cause calcium to build up in your fist. You can try punching boards of wood, I've seen people use tree's as punching bags to strengthen their fist. Same thing to get be able to take more punches, lol the more your chest gets brusied after it recovers it builds up more resistance and gets stronger. Something like that |

Something like that  | This is not just your fist, if you would allways walk around on ur feet without shoes, their bottoms would be as hard as rocks.
If you would throw a stone on your head every 1 hour for 10 years long on thesame spot, naturally, your body will start to make changes to reduce the damage taken, that's basically the idea behind it anyway.

You need to eat more to make your knuckles bigger :P.No exercise can help you well I think basketball is a good sport for that kind of training.

ALSO when you are fat or chubby theres fat surrounding or on top the nuckles so thats why it could make your nuckles not show as much

do push ups on the hard ground with your fists.. or punch walls 1000 times every day.. then u wont feel pain when u hit and it will hurt ppl.. if ur like me and have a broken knuckle for a long time u stop feeling pain in it and its like jagged. Or just do push ups, pull ups, or weight training. Also learn to hit where it hurts (upper lip nose area you can make them cry, sternum you can cause internal bleeding, under arm can paralyze and cause nerve damage a person if u hit them the right way, temple you can break skulls here, chin if you upper cut hard enough and thier head swings to much you can damage thier spinal cord and brain)
