Anyone else find it odd that the 16GB 3G iPhone and the 8GB iPod touch are the same price? It only seem logical that apple would lower the price of the iPod touch. I would expect a price drop very soon. Or, maybe we won't see a price drop. Complexis breaks it down very nicely: Quote: |

It's because I think there arn't many features missing from the iTouch compared to the iPhone.
The only features it's missing are Call & Sms capabilities.
Although 3rd Party applications are availible to accomodate that.

iPhone goes for so low because of the plan. For example, if you buy a BlackBerry, why is it only $200 if you buy a plan, yet it's like $500 if you buy without a plan?

thast the thing though, U cant get the iphone with out a plan...U have to get a Plan with the iphone to buy it.

i have an ipod touch...got it when it firts came out....and its priced that because of the plan costs and Cause its so cheap it makes it like sucha big thing but when u get the plan with it  ...ur ****ed each month
