how do i downgrade firmwares? Ive tried downgrading with the 2.0.2 firmware on quickpwn i just put in that firmware but it didnt work. Any suggestions?

Doesnt work. When i click the firmware to downgrade to (2.0.2) from 2.1.1 it starts. Then it extracts and says updating firmware. Then i get an error message that says like error 10 or something and thats all that happens. Then my iPod goes into recovery mode and i had to fix recover it on itunes and lost a lot of memory.

If only I got mine a little earlier. Mine came with 2.1.1 and restoring it only goes back to 2.1.1. I'm not going to risk ruining it for some apps so I guess I'll wait until there's safer ways to JB a 2G.

Or you could try using WinPwn.

Tried to downgrade it to 2.0.1 and it just gave me a unknown error. Than I had to restore back to factory setting (2.1.1). This sucks I really want to jailbreak it.
