Pwn Your iPhone/iPod Touch (Mac Only):
[HOW TO] PWN Your iPhone/iPod Touch (MAC ONLY) You Can Sync The Official iPhone Apps, But Only Do It AFTER You Jailbreak
1. Restore to a fresh 1.1.4 iPhone/iPod Touch
2. Sync and Name your iPhone/iPod Touch what ever you want, just make sure you set as new ipod
3. Go to

4. Plug your iPhone/iPod Touch into the Computer and on iLiberty + click jailbreak and setup installer Then Click The Go Button, if it says Cydia instead, follow this.
[HOW TO] Get To Install Installer Instead Of Cydia In iLiberty + DON'T CLICK CYDIA Expecting You Did The Stuff Above And Just Got To The Part Before You Jailbreak, Follow This
1. Open iLiberty +
2. Click Advanced at the top (This is on windows, not sure but for mac just find the payloads)
3. Click Available On Repo
4. Click Refresh, Now a whole bunch will pop up
5. Find Installer, Click it (Check it) and click download, Go Back To Standard
6. Click Jailbreak Then Go Back To Back To Advanced, Click Local Payloads, Click Installer
7. Click Go For It
8. Follow the instructions and let it do its thing
Prevent Keyboard Problems
1. Open contacts and pretend to add a contact and type randomly for 10 seconds, make sure you cancel
2. Follow the Step
2. BSD Subsystem steps then look at step 3 here
3. Open contacts again and pretend to add a contact and type randomly for 10 seconds, make sure you cancel
4. Open installer and pretend to add a source, if it doesn't freeze then you did good and it will never freeze
Set Auto Lock To Never (Optional) This Makes it so that your iPhone/iPod Touch doesn't lock when you leave it on without touching it
1. Go to your Settings app
2. Go to General
3. Go To Auto Lock
4. Set it To Never
Now follow these Steps
Follow Steps In Order:
1. Community Sources
1.1. Open settings and go to wifi and choose yours
1.2. Now open installer and let it refresh, update installer if necessary
1.3. Go to all packages and install Community Sources
(This Might Already Be Installed, So Don't Worry) and let it refresh
1.4. Hit the home button and let it respring
2. BSD Subsystem
2.1. Open installer, make sure you refreshed sources
2.2. Install:
- BSD Subsystem
- BSD Subsystem 2.0 Termfix
2.3. Press the home button and let it respring
2.4. Now go into installer and install SUID Libfix if you get "Main Execution Script Failed" Don't worry, it still worked
2.5. Press the home button and let it respring
[FIX] When Trying To Download BSD Subsystem You Get "Download Package Failed!"
1. Connect To Wifi
2. Open installer and tap Sources at the bottom right
3. Tap Refresh at the upper right corner, let it refresh
4. Go to BSD Subsystem and tap install at the upper right corner, 3 buttons will pop up, tap clear queue
5. Now Follow The BSD Subsystem Steps
3. BossTool (Move Applications)
3.1. Open installer and install BossTool
3.2. Hit the home button and let it respring
3.3. Open BossTool and tap Free Disk Space and Relocate Them in this order:
- Fonts
- Ringtones
- Applications
3.4. Now Restart your iPhone/iPod Touch
4. OpenSSH
4.1. Open installer and install OpenSSH
4.2. Hit the home button and Let it respring
5. WinSCP
5.1. Download WinSCP from

1a. After you SSH into your iPhone/iPod Touch, look at the top and you will see
Commands click that and then you will see
Open In Terminal, click that then click ok
1b. On your keyboard, hit CTRL + T
6. Create Symlinks Between Media and Library
6.1. SSH into your ipod, (I use WinSCP)
6.2. Go to /private/var/root and create a folder and call it Media (Exactly like that)
6.3. Now Enter These Codes in WinSCP's Terminal or Putty (I prefer WinSCP's):

6.4. Now Restart your iPhone/iPod Touch
7. Customize There Are Three Ways To Do This FIRST WAY-Danimators Customize
7.1a. Open installer and tap Sources, Now Add one of these Sources:
- dan.ecct2.com/testrepo.xml
- danimator.techdocrx.com/testrepo.xml
let it refresh
7.2a. Install Customize 8.3
SECOND WAY-Skylars Modded Customize
7.1b. Open installer and tap Sources, Now Add This Source:
- ipodtouched.net/repo.xml
7.2b. Now install the Modded Customize
THIRD WAY-Customzie 2.0 BETA
7.1c. Go to
Customize, a native iPhone application by The Spicy Chicken
7.2c. Click Register, or if you already registered, log in and skip to part 7.4c.
7.3c. Register by entering valid information,
YOU HAVE TO enter a valid serial number or else it wont work, to do this, on your iPhone/iPod Touch go to your settings app, then tap general, then tap about, and scroll down a little bit and you will see your Serial Number
7.4c. After you sign up and log in and add the source:
http://customizeapp.com/plist/installer NOTE: Customize 2.0 BETA will not work if you didn't sign up with a valid Serial Number, If you didn't will get an error saying "Cannot Connect To Themes Server, Either Wifi Is Off Or You Did Not Register Your Device" or something like that, so don't think you can just add the source and download Customize 2.0 BETA, it wont work

8.2. Install SummerBoard
8.3. Now install SMB Themes Fix, it might say "Main Execution Script Failed" Don't worry, it still worked

11. Reactivate Cookies (Safari Not Remembering Passwords And Such)
11.1. Just enter these codes on your iPhone/iPod Touch in any Terminal even Term v10

13. Customize is Not in SummerBoard (SMBprefs) (Customize 2.0)
13.1. In Customize go into SMB Preferences and tap themes then tap Customize, no go back and hit Exit & Restart SpringBoard
13.2. Now go into SummerBoard (SMBprefs) and tap Themes and tap Customize, go back and tap Restart SpringBoard
13.3. In Customize go to SMB Preferences and make sure SummerBoard, Theme Wallpaper, Theme Status Bar, Theme Icons, Theme Dock, Wallpaper, is turned to On, no go back and tap Exit & Restart SpringBoard
14. [FIX] Certain Apps Like Weather Not Saving Settings
14.1. Use any terminal of your choice (WinSCP's, Term-vt100, etc.) and enter this code:

14.2. Restart Your iPhone/iPod Touch
[FIX][OPTIONAL]Tap Tap Revolution (TTR) Fix for Username Or Downloaded Songs Not Showing Up Now For Everytime I Say "Set The Permissions To 0777" That is for WinSCP, if you are using CuteFTP pro, then set the permissions to 777 insted
1. Now while in SSH navagate over to /private/var/mobile/Media and you will see the folder called TTR
2. Set the permission on that to 0777
3. Now go into the TTR folder and you will see 2 folders and 1 file,Music, Taps, and prefs.plist, again change the permissions to 0777 on both folders and the file
4. Now Navigate over to /Applications and look for TTR.app
5. Set the Permissions on that to 0777
6. Now go into to TTR.app and you will see alot of files
7. Set the permissions for each one
EXCEPT the file TTR, Leave that at 0755
Everything else is 0777
8. Now Reboot and it should work
[OPTIONAL]Boot In Verbose Mode
This will make text scroll on your iPhone/iPod Touch when you boot instead of the white apple
1. Open a Terminal of your choice (I Used Term-vt100 For This) and enter:
