Does Customize Work On 1.1.1/1.1.2:

Yes it does, it runs fine but you will be unable to arrange your icons on your springboard, thats the only problem

Official Release Date:

It is not known yet because it is in alpha version and does not have all the features that it will have when full.

Beta is when the app is finished but he just wants people to test it out if there are any bugs, so when beta comes out then we will probably know the release date

How To Fix The Theme Server Problem:

1. go to Customize, a native iPhone application by The Spicy Chicken

2. Log in

3. After you log in, look to the right and look for theme manager and under that click my profile

4. On your iphone/ipod touch go to your settings app and tap general, then about, then scroll down till you see your serial number

5. Look at my profile on the website and you will see a spot to enter your serial number, it will say above the box Phone Information, just type in the serial number and click save, now try it

6. if it doesn't work just make sure you are connected to wifi then

Where Do I Find My Invite Codes:

1. Log on to Customize, a native iPhone application by The Spicy Chicken and at the right hand side you will see "Theme Manager", under that you will see "My Profile" Click that

2. Look at the bottom left of the screen and your 3 invite codes will be there.

Why Do My Invite Codes Not Show Up And Say "You currently have no active invitations":

You have to request them now, there not given automatically because people could use 1 of there 3 to make a new account which gave them more invites, giving them access to unlimited codes if they wanted

DO THIS NO MATTER WHAT, ITS A MUST:

All your theme files and your OriginalBackUp files is corrupted, you have to run this command, you will lose all your themes and have to reinstall them, and the OriginalBackUp will be updated, the problem is that the themes won't update and both the themes and the OriginalBackUp Files are Corrupted and you need to run this code

1. First set your stuff back to Original, first in SummerBoard (SMBprefs) set your theme to Default

2. In customize go to Theme Browser, then tap OriginalBackup and hit Apply To iPhone

3. Then go back to The Main Menu In Customize and tap Exit & Restart SpringBoard

5. Now Run this command in terminal

rm -rf /var/mobile/Library/Customize2

How To Get Customize To Change Stuff, Rather Then Like 2 Icons:

First try running these commands:

chmod +x /Applications/Customize.app/Customize

chmod +s /Applications/Customize.app/Customize

If that doesn't work, try this:

SSH into your iPhone/iPod Touch and navigate over to /var/root and make a new folder called

Media

Exactly like that, now run these commands in a terminal

cp -R /private/var/root/Media /private/var/mobile/

rm -r /private/var/root/Media

ln -s /private/var/mobile/Media /private/var/root/Media

cp -R /private/var/root/Library /private/var/mobile/

rm -r /private/var/root/Library

ln -s /private/var/mobile/Library /private/var/root/Library

If you are getting errors like can't over write, then look at all the folders in /private/var/mobile/Media and /private/var/mobile/Library and make new folders in /var/root/Media and /var/root/Library like your making a replica, just the folders, not the files, then try the code again

Example:

/private/var/mobile/Media:
TTR
Itunes

Now just make those exact folders in Media, but not the files

/var/root/Media should now just have the folders:
TTR
Itunes

But no files in them

3. Now try it, if it still does it, try the one under this

How To Fix The Problem Where The Wallpaper Or Other Stuff Doesn't Change (DO THIS AFTER YOU HAVE DONE THE ONE ABOVE AND ONLY IF THE ONE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK:

1. Make sure you have SummerBoard (SMBprefs) installed, if not install it

2. In SummerBoard, go to themes and tap Customize, If Customize is not in there go reinstall Customize 2.0 and then it should be there

3. Now it should work

How To Go Back To The Original Backup:

1. First in SummerBoard (SMBprefs) tap themes then tap default, respring

2. Now go to customize and tap themes browser and under my themes tap OriginalBackUp

3. Now Tap Apply Theme To iPhone

4. Now instead of hitting the home button, keep hit back until you get to the main menu of Customize, now tap Exit & Restart Springboard, give it about a minute and it should work

How To Fix The Problem Where Customize Doesn't Open Properly Or Crashes:

1. Go to installer and go to 1.1.3 tweaks and install SUID Lib Fix

2. Now Uninstall Customize, then hit the home button to respring, then go back into installer and reinstall it

If that doesn't work, try running these commands in terminal:

chmod +x /Applications/Customize.app/Customize

chmod +s /Applications/Customize.app/Customize

Fix BackUp File Not Working (Do This Even If You Don't Need The Fix):

The problem is that When you used the command

rm -rf /var/mobile/Library/Customize2

you erased your original backup theme and then when you opened customize next it made a new backup theme, with the theme you were running


Try using the Original Apple Theme, if that does not work, i am sorry to say there is no fix at the moment you have to restore

Heres a thing i did tho, after i restored, did everything and install Customize 2.0, since i wasn't using any theme yet, and still using the default, i opened customize and tapped "Make Backup Now" and named it BackupJustIncase, that is a backup of the default so, heres what i did step by step.

1. Restored, and did all my stuff

2. Reinstalled Customize 2.0

3. Opened Customize and tapped "Make Backup Now"

4. I named it, BackUpJustIncase

5. I SSH into my ipot and navigated over to /var/root/Library/Customize2 and copied BackUpJustIncase to my computer

**Now if my backup file doesn't work, i can apply the one i made, if i deleted it, then i can always put it back on my ipod and then use it
