But the website says they are sueing because they claim Odin stole their code. Now this will be an EXTREMELY easy case for Matze to win because he didn't steal the code. He can prove that easily especially because MapleStory and most other games are written in C++, while OdinMS is written in Java.

... And? They would still want them in American Dollars or in Pounds. Pounds > Euros/Dollars. Therefore, I'd say this is a fake scam. Including how easily Matze would win, by just SHOWING the code, I'd say if it was NEXON, they'd be f*cked as Matze could easily counter their case by claiming NEXON is harassing him and sue them for damages.

I think you misread what I said, I know that Nexon is in the process of sueing Odin, but they still have to go through with the actual legal battle.

It's NEXON America, and Germany uses Euros. That way they will use Euros or Dollars, and since Euros are worth more, they probably think they can trick Matze in giving them 350,000 euros than dollars.

... Pounds are worth more than euros. If they had a brain, they'd be sueing in pounds then. No, this is a complete scam. They would be asking for 350,000 pounds if they wanted money.

I doubt they would sue in euros or pounds because then they would also have to converse with Matze which in turn might create more controversy in the winning of the legal battle when NEXON sues Odin, am I correct?

If NEXON was after money, they'd be sueing in pounds because of NEXON Europe. And you said that NEXON America was after money. Therefore, they're after something else.

I highly doubt that NEXON is after cash, they are just angry because of all the business and players they are losing because everyone is switching to private servers.

The objective of NEXON right now is to regain their players back, which in turn, develops into more profit.
