I found this HaRepacker.This NOT MADE BY ME...

Before running the repacker, you MUST download .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
(or use the key files, if you must)

also, if you are smart enough to read the text above, please dont help retards who ask why do they get a System.Core error. they need to learn how to read size 29 red colored bolded text.

For those getting a HRESULT error when changing\adding PNGS:
Download the following DLL files and put them in your system32 folder (if they are not there already):
DLL-files.com - msvcr71.dll, free download
DLL-files.com - msvcr80.dll, free download

V3: Integrated FH mapper (credits to Odecey), fixed perion-crash map.wz, added option for changing the file's encryption

-Integration of Odecey's Foothold Mapper into the repacker. choose an img inside map.wz representing a map and select FH Mapping -> Render Map. Choosing "settings" will lead to the settings form, and the number in the text box is the zoom. After you finish working on the map simply close the map render window and HaRepacker will automatically update your changes into the tree view.

-Added a saving form. Now after selecting where to save the file, you will also be prompted to input the encryption and version you want the file to be saved in (just click save if you dont want to change anything). this means that you can technically save all the KMS wz files as GMS v62 files and run it on your v62 private server.

-Finally fixed the well-known bug that caused perion and henesys dungeon maps to crash after repacking. For those who want to know the cause of the bug, it was JL coding the png compression poorly and not understanding the reason behind the two PNG form parameters. this caused wzlib to repack type <0x201,4> images (such as the ones in perion backgorund) as type <0x205,0> images, which in turn royally screwed up the background, causing the map to crash.

-removed the error message from file opening. now when opening fails, you will get the .NET error log. post it here and i will tell you the problem.

-the FH mapper integrated in this version automatically creates a default settings file if its not there already.

Download and source (C#): attached. also including WzLib's source code, if you want to tweak it.
before running the exe you must extract everything to the same directory.

this is a full wz repacker - it loads wz into a tree view, allows you to remove, add or modify almost any data, and repacks the file into its wz form.

How-to (if you dont read it dont come complaining when the software crashes):
1.open a wz file using the load button

2.the wz file will be sorted in the tree view, but the img files will not be extracted. to extract an img, double click it.

3.if you select a property or directory and click Property --> remove property , the property\directory will be removed

4.if you select a property and click Property --> change property, you will be able to change the name and value of the property.

5.if you select a directory (the img file itself counts as a directory) and click Property --> add property, you will be able to add a property of your choice. to add a directory property select WzSubProperty in the type box.

6.click the save button to repack and save the wz file.

Hi all, I am new to wz editing. And I hope that I am posting this in the correct forum.

I was trying to change a single change of a type of mob to melee godmode. bodyAttack is change from 1 to 0. After saving the file to a new filename, I found that the new file have increased from 232,149,721 to 232,149,726.

To my horror, when I did a binary file compare, the original and the new file have 42,617,619 changes.

When I check the new file with HarePacker 3.0 again, I fiund that there is no change in bodyAttack. It still show 1, instead of the 0 I have change.

May I know what did I do wrong. Appreciate it very much if someone can advise.

hey , i cant read what are they @__@ i dont really understand the steps can u explain abit more ? >.>
when i click those thing in Harepacker , it just does nothing , sorry for the noobness , i'm a beginner
and what is the gms.key and ems.key for ? and the harepacket.source where do i place it ? .

If u're creating for GMS, u need to learn GMS language. If u're english.
Use EMS(:

Ems shows english.

On the tab for GMS , EMS/KMS , JMS etc , choose EMS/KMS then load up your .wz file.
