Official GamerzNeeds.net Video Contest (YouTube)
GamerzNeeds.net is holding the 2007 Video Contest on Youtube.com!
The Video Contest will be an Official event allowing everybody to join, from Members, New comers and Guests that view the contest from the Youtube.com website.

What Do i Do?
Youtube hosts videos of all sort. from People blogging, advertisement, funny videos, and much more.
We are giving you the chance to express your self on video, make a movie out of screen captures (from games or small clips from movies), a gfx tutorial, may include game hacks, A movie of Your Self (YES your allowed to act like an idi0t! (hehe) You can act out (roll play) from a movie, You can go wild, as long as it is a video on Youtube.

What Else?
On Your movie, Make sure to include www.gamerzneeds.net as a watermark throughout the movie, and the video will benefit if it is verbally enhancing the site throughout it. You also need to include at the end of your movie a credits page eg. - "Go to www.gamerzneeds.net - For all your Gaming Needs" Video created by "username" from www.gamerzneeds.net, Gamerz Needs also has ..... Or something similiar. Be creative, you may want to say something like, GamerzNeeds.Net has this, this and this, and ....
There is heaps you can do, the choice is yours.

Videos without GamerzNeeds as a watermark may be unidentified, therefore unable to enter the contest.

In your description about the video, it is good to include keywords, eg. maple story, rakion, hacks, gunbound, gamerzneeds.net, (Keywords that are what your video is about, not random ones) and include tags like GzN, gamerzneeds.net, gunbound, etc.

You can create as many videos as you like, the more the better.
you can include your referrerid in your description eg.

change the 1 to your userid, and when they sign up, I will know you referred them
Once you have done your video, post it in youtube, then let me know in this thread.

Prizes! 1st place: $50usd cash through paypal* and 1 year premium + membership or 1 month premium hosting through Home

2nd place: $25usd cash through paypal and 6 months premium+ membership or 1 month premium hosting through Home

3rd place: $10usd cash through paypal and 1 month premium+ membership or 1 month premium hosting through Home

*If you don't have paypal, other arrangements can be made.
Contest starts today! and will finish: 10th July Midnight AE

Winners will be chosen by Admins. They will be chosen by a combination of things. eg. how popular your video was on youtube, how creative your video is, how popular your video is in this thread based on user support, and if your video promotes gamerzneeds.

Ideas and tutorials to help you get started:

1. YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. look at what makes a popular video, and some ideas on how to make your video even more popular.

2. Google need software or tutorials on how to do something, here is where to get started ^^

3. Watermark Your Videos and Images - This site shows you how to create a watermark, could be useful to some, remember I just got this from google, so if this site don't help, do a quick search for more ^^

4. an example of a video that you could make a gzn video like, and how the watermark and credits at the end can be like: YouTube - "Ebay" by Weird Al Yankovic

A. The event closes on the 10th July Midnight AET

Q. When is the winner announced?
A. Approx 3-5 days after the event closes.

Q. How does the winner get chosen?
A. The winner will be chosen by myself (hornstar6969), I will look for originality, amount of views your video got, and how well you advertised gzn in your video.

if it is breaking the gzn rules, then it is not enhancing the site, which will mean you will not win. so the simple answer is no for that one.
