Ubisoft and Gearbox Software have announced Wii and DS versions of the popular World War II series.
Brothers In Arms Double Time is set for an autumn release on Wii, but it will be preceded in the summer by a handheld game called Brothers In Arms DS. Once again players will join Sergeants Bater and Hartsock during the Normandy landings.
As usual players will fight in genuine battles that occurred during the breakout from Normandy, on recreations of the real battlefields themselves. Wii owners can look forward to 31 levels of action.
"Brothers In Arms on the Wii and DS systems is really exciting for us," said Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox Software. "I am a huge fan of both systems and thrilled about making games for the two platforms. In the entire space of first-person shooters on video game systems, Brothers In Arms really lends itself to both the Wii and DS interfaces. Imagine using the Wii Remote to give actual hand signals or aiming with the DS stylus from a covered position. That’s what you can look forward to with Brothers In Arms Double Time and Brothers In Arms DS."

Looks interesting, I might decide to buy it as a gift. Be fun to use a controller as a weapon =D.

I got Brother in Arms for PS2, the latest one, and imo it really sucks, i prefer Medal of Honor, or Call of Duty.
