1. A hack is patched / Thread information is outdated
2. Thread should have never been started because of advertising/referring/virus posting.
3. The question posed in a thread is fully answered.
4. The thread is no longer relevant.
If spam is building up in a thread, all that needs to be done is a little cleaning, not an entire thread closing.
