Nope, all the programs I post are stand alone, you can download em and use them as you wish.
The VTP is just like, the main part of the transformation.
Btw, I installed real vista today so I wont be able to test most of the programs before I DL them, but I'll keep scanning them first.

BTw, here's a good bit of news: "
ViStart Build: 2481 (VTP Edition)
Posted by D~Low, June 19th, 2007 in Software | 13 Comments »

Yea i think Mr.x and lee have finished ViStart Go Here

ViStart

and as you will see

it says

ViStart Build: 2481 (VTP Edition)

i downloaded it and now it even has a options setting for The Browser Default along With E-mail Default and a start up setting along with you can choose to show it in the task bar notification area. & it works great by far the best yet because it is the VTP 7 Build

P.S Which mean VTP 7 must be almost finished and i know that they are just waiting for Thoosje to finish the Vista Side Bar

But of course it should be soon because it says this on Microsoft Vista sidebar - XP sidebar design Thoosje.com

Announcement!! Thoosje Vista Sidebar V2.0 Wil be Released 19-20 June 2007

-D~Low
"

Does this mean VTP 7 is coming soon?

Haha Windows VTP7 is coming out tomorrow! Fresh from windows x's shrine:

VTP7 release date and other important infos

As VTP 7 release date is getting closer and closer, I just want to make some announcements. They are for the general good of this website and everyone else.

1) VTP7 is currently finished, the developers are currently waiting for the sidebar and Vistart to be finished. VTP7 is expected to be release on Friday.

2) Please slow down on the new posts. Would you want to pick up $1 dollar on the floor when you see a bundle of $100 bill falling off the sky? Of course not! Same thing on Windows X’s Shrine. People are not going to be interested in your posts (unless its REALLY catchy) when VTP7 is about to come out.

Anymore new posts before the release of VTP7 will be edited so it does not show as first (this post will be first until VTP7 comes out). If you just can’t resist sharing a news, please post it on the special reserved area for Windows X’s Shrine on JCXP.net right HERE

3) Please add Windows X’s Shrine to your homepage so you get VTP7 as soon as it comes out. Believe me, this is worth it
Click here to make Windows X’s Shrine your default homepage

Or you can add Windows X’s Shrine news to your Google Homepage (formally called iGoogle)

Click here to add Windows X’s Shrine to your iGoogle homepage

Thank you for your cooperation

Well, I used the last one VTP6 for about a week, and from what I saw it looked exactly like Vista. But, this version is gonna be better, from what I hear they are including Vistart- windows vista-like start menu (I hear it has the search feature too!) and alot of other programs.

This was just posted:

"ANNOUNCEMENT: When VTP7 comes out, a lot of people are going to be downloading it. So it puts a lot of stress on the server. So I ask if you could find a file hosting server and maybe upload VTP7 into it once it comes out and email the link to : danchesterfield41@gmail.com

That would be helpful.

Thank you for your cooperation."
I'll check back after dinner to see if they are actually putting it online.

Looks like we have to wait for a few more days. Oh well, here' is the latest news about VTP7

"Vista Transformation Pack 7 to be released on Monday!
Posted by LucIfiaR, June 23rd, 2007 in Windows X's Shrine | 114 Comments »

I have set the release date of VTP7 for 25th June, as this is the 6 month anniversary for Vista Transformation Pack 6.0 (VTP 6 was released 25th December). So please, calm down and wait for the celebration on Monday! This is not the expected release date, but the confirmed release date.

Also, some news about the site - Jack is really unhappy with the way Windows X’s Shrine is at the moment. Him and I will have to remove some articles and modify newsposter’s rights until Jack completely cleans up the site and gives them some sort of lecture before resetting the rights again.

Thank you for your patience."

Vista Transformation Pack 7.0 - Easy, Simple and Robust

This is the most tired release I’ve ever been through. I wonder if user who get this will appreciate how hard I really went through for this. It seems Lee is being too messy right now so I won’t hold back any longer. This release has overall improvements for features compared to previous versions and has a lot of user interface refinements for ease of use with end-user. You will find this program is amazingly easier comparing to all other shell packs. Let’s see the changelog of this release.

Changes in Version 7.0

-Added Docking support for preview and taskbar replacement
-Added DPI auto-detection in Machine Configuration

-Fixed uninstalling bug with system drive icon
-Fixed uninstalling routines
-Fixed uxtheme.dll patching detection bugs on machine without any service pack

Windows X’s Shrine to release Vista Transformation Pack 7.0.1
Posted by LucIfiaR, June 27th, 2007 in Windows X's Shrine | 2 Comments »

After releasing the Vista Transformation Pack 7.0 for a week, version 7.0.1 will be put to schedule to fix problems found in version 7.0. So please stay calm and wait for an update if you really can’t use this release.

Version 7.0.1 should contains:
-Media Center application error fix
-Lee-soft’s applications update
-Installation error regarding KB925902 and refine the UI to prevent misleading information
-FastAero integration for glass support (Don’t start jumping around yet. It’s still in consideration)
-User Accout’s Status reporting bug

If you have any trouble using Vista Transformation Pack 7, you can visit this page for temporary solutions before version 7.0.1’s installer and patch released at Vista Transformation Pack 7.0 - Help and support

And if you have anything else beside these to report, please post it below mannerly like civilised citizen.
