Let me make this loud, clear, and honestly blunt. Me and the rest of the Rakion moderators are sick and tired of cleaning after the english-deficient posts in the RSS section. The spam in the RSS section is probably about quadruple (4x) the rate of that in the RIS section. I believe that I have probably deleted over 1900 posts in the RSS section alone.

Honestly, NONE of the mods have the time nor the patience to clean after you guys like dogs. I have talked to other mods via PM about the RSS section spam versus the RIS spam. From now on, I will now be warning/infracting members at a much higher rate than before.

Do not take this personally, because I warn/infract members that spam, no matter what section it is. But from my experience on this forum (which goes back quite a while, I've been on GzN since late 2006), the RSS section is ALWAYS the worst when it comes to spammers. I will NOT give verbal warnings unless the spammed messages are TRULY accidental and do not cause much harm or time out of anybody to clean up. However, if I see any more 4-page conversations about WILLIAM HUNG (you guys know exactly what I'm talking about), I swear I will warn/infract every member that participates in that conversation.

Take this general verbal warning LOUD AND CLEAR. My purpose in making this thread is to save myself the time of Private Messaging 50 different RSS members that spam on a constant basis. This is a general verbal warning, so read this once, read this twice. Read it as many times as you need to in order to get this information into your brains. I have already banned one member today for constantly spamming. If you want to be the next one, just go ahead and break every stickied rule. I can guarantee that you wont like the consequences.

I will also leave this an open thread because all of the leeching spammers don't look at the closed threads, assuming they are patched hacks. Dont take that wrong though, if any spam comes up on this thread I intend to warn/infract you.

Comments, objections with valid reasons, questions can go below if deemed necessary.

RSS section is the worst section to deal with.
I agree just give them warning and infraction.

I've used my friends account since September/October-ish 2006 Hes the one that introduced me to GzN. He's not that active anymore, and I didnt want to take his account, so I made my own during June.


And RSS is by far the worst hassle to deal with. I average about 25-deleted posts per thread..which is a rediculous amount. I have 5..10..15 posts in a row that are deleted. At first I found it amusing because I never realized how much spam there was in RSS. Now its not even funny anymore -.-

He knows what I'm saying now, with a 5-point infraction lasting three months. Hes lucky I didnt give him one for insubordination. His history of warnings is impossibly long, and all from the RSS sections. Go figure.

Well, We should get more ACTIVE mods into the RSS section, along with juega deleting the spam.

Other than that, we should REALLY start doing something about it. Infract for it or something, as a punishment.

I actually support the idea of having recruiting more Moderators to moderate the RSS section. I'm from RSS and I'm getting a little pissed at them aswell, wrong sections, horrible English.

There are 7 mods in the rakion section already, but this section is hardly "moddable" in every single thread there are people who fail to understand even the easiest English, or they just spam "thank you posts"

The English in the RSS section is just a lot worse than the English in the RIS section, and for some reason, they spam a lot more as well.
