I'm going to copy and paste what it says on the forum.
Moderator Application
This is the place to apply for Moderator, Use the guidelines! You can't have any warnings currently in place and DO NOT apply without having at least 350 posts! must also be a member for at least 3 months (Remember this! Not everyone can be a moderator and there are not spots going all the time!!) Also do NOT PM administrator for a spot or else it will be declined instantly. Apply only once. Admin will only reply when they are looking for Moderators.
Now for people that cant read well, I'll break it down for you. (However those people that cant read well, your chances of being selected are slim, as you are expected to read a lot on a forum o_O)
10 Easy steps to become a Moderator on Gamerz Needs 1. Do not apply unless you have 350 non spammed posts.
2. you must be all of the following before being accepted:
a: You must be in the
Promo Team first before applying - You should try and help the forum grow bigger and better, by promoting it to your friends and family, posting in sections that may or may not interest you, by posting threads that are useful to other members etc. This is what the Promo Team is all about.
b: You must be a
reg+ user before applying. (follow the guidelines for that first, or you will be blacklisted)
3. Do not pm/email an admin/staff member saying can I be a mod/smod/admin. It's quite obvious you don't know your way around the forum and obviously can't read.
4. Do not apply for a section, unless you are active in that section. If it's a game, then you should be actively playing that game as well, and know alot about that forum. Knowing how to program and/or hack is a bonus in some sections.
5. a: If you want to have a better chance, then posting threads are better then posting replies to other threads, unless your replies are helpful.
b: If you want to have a better chance, then report bad posts (click on the

symbol from within the post). This will show you know what bad posts are, and what to do with them.
6. You should try your best to get to know all the staff and members. (staff are the ones who recommend people to myself after all)
7. Don't bug me on msn other wise I will ignore you. I only go on msn a few times a week. If it's not important then wait until i'm in the shoutbox to chat with me.
8. Copy and paste the guidelines into your application, and edit it where appropriate. Try and make it user friendly, ie. Make it easier to read by spacing it out, bolding parts that are important, and bold the questions etc.
9. If you have warnings currently in place, then you will not be accepted unless that warning is a minor one that even an admin could have made by mistake.
10. Sucking up to me will not work, it will only annoy me and thus, making me ignore you.
11. You must be friendly to
ALL members. Even members who you think are 'noob' or are 'stupid' or 'annoying' or any other term, you must be friendly and helpful no matter what.
Best of luck, and remember, Not everyone can be a mod, even if you have been here since the start and with 4000 posts, It does not mean you will get a spot as the sections you want to apply for may not require a Mod currently.
You only need to apply for a MOD position once. If we deny it, then don't try again for at least a month, and until you feel you have improved enough that we will take a second look.
Best of luck if you apply, We are always on the lookout for new talent for Gamerz Needs to join the staff team and have an exciting time.
