Guidelines when applying for a mod spot

Please don't chase up your application; we will only reply when there are spots available. However we will deny your application if it is not worthy at the time. Thanks

You need 350 non spammed posts minimum, be an active member currently, (e.g come on daily) and be active in the section that you apply for. Be mature and friendly to all members. You must currently have no warnings in place. You must also have been a member for at least 3 months. You must be a reg+ user and be in the promo team (search what they are if you are not sure).

Use these guidelines when applying in the Moderator Application section.


Applications for Mod only, There will be no applications for Smod or Admin. Administration will decide on those from people that are already in the staff.


Please copy and paste these guidelines into your application, and make them as user friendly as possible, by making them as easy to read by bolding parts and spacing your application out etc.

Hypotheticals:

Note: In all the hypotheticals, you are online, and you are the ONLY STAFF MEMBER ON (except for question #3). Also, they should be at least 2 sentences long.

1. There is a member who just joined 5 minutes ago. He has already broken four minor rules (all the same rule). What do you do?



2. Now there is a member who has just broken a major rule, such as a racial comment. What do you do?



3. You see another moderator on, and he/she is abusing their moderation powers. What do you do?

4. A member is fussing and complaining about anything stupid (Example: He/she is saying another member called them a name), what should you do and not do?



5. A member disagrees with you and says they will tell an Admin. You go on with your day, and an Admin comes online and PM's/IM's you and asked for your side of the story. What would you say?



6. Your best friend is online, and he/she breaks a few rules. What would you do?


7. A member has posted a virus on the forums. What do you do?


8. A member accidently goes off topic/starts a thread in the wrong section. What do you do?


9. A user is trolling on the forums (Def: Only came to cause trouble). What should you do?
