nope thats considered random spam and annoying at best, unless the youtube vid was made by you and serves a point like it teaches something or is important in some way or related to GzN then its against the rules.

the main problem is that everyone knows about youtube and everyone has there fav videos, once one person posts one youtube link then everyone starts shouting there fav youtube links and bam now you got a crap load of shoutbox spam and re-directed links....

so yea the vids must be made by you or from your youtube account and should be related to GzN or be educational or something, not just a pointless spammed youtube link....

well the shoutbox does have a PM feature just type /pm (there username); (the message)

so it will look like this

but yes tis is a gaming forum so like say the youtube link relates to games or its like a game trailor then I don't see it being to bad, as long as it doesn't lead to a bunch of people posting youtube links like crazy.

if you feel you must share a youtube link that doesn't meet the rules like a funny or random vid that doesn't relate to GzN or isn't made by you or has no importance then pm the person the link or shoutbox PM them a link

this question was already answered tho, but I'm saying it over and over to make myself clear. youtube links that are made by you or is related to GzN or has importance are only allowed, this is a gaming forum so if the youtube vid is to show a new game or something then its understandable.

but you all get the point no random pointless youtube links, they end up starting youtube wars where everyone in the shoutbox just starts shouting youtube links, Ive seen it all 2 years Ive been on GzN and its been somewhat unforced but now its here for all you to see, and not only by word.


these are our rules so obey them, or be punished

and no all staff and members have to obey these rules, no exceptions, if anything the staff have much stricter rules and have to always look good for our members so if there breaking the rules then there punishment will be much more severe








Edit----------- the rules them selves have been edited to fix the youtube questions and also now explains the punishments of breaking the shoutbox rules!!!!
