Due to the increase of disrespect to other members and explicit content in the shoutbox, the following rules will be in place.

1. Respect ALL members and staff members in the shoutbox.
2. Post NO LINKS to external sites. (Re-Directed links that take you outside of GzN) GFX related links (imageshack/photobucket) links are the only exception and have to be in link form. As fare as youtube links only if you made the video, it relates to GzN or games, and or is very important, like it teaches you something and serves a purpose, as long as it doesn't lead a youtube war where to a bunch of people post there fav youtube vids.
3. Be mindful of what you post, it will lead you to trouble.
4. No spamming or CAPS LOCK.
5. Offensive links are strictly forbidden and will result in a shoutbox ban.
6. No abusing the /me function. (even if it's for silencing fun)
7. Type in a readable font. (stupid firebug)
8. No quotes or image tags allowed in the shoutbox. (lags)
9. No bad language the majority of this forum is ages 10-17.
10. No adult conversations keep things rated PG13. (no talk about sexual activities, body parts, porn, etc....)
11. No images in the shoutbox. (making an actual image show up in the shoutbox)
12. English only, this is a English only forum so its only common sense that the shoutbox is also English only,

And most importantly, have fun but don't over do it.

If these rules are broken whether or not you have read them does not matter, you will be punished for your actions.

which is that you can and will be silenced from the shoutbox, given a forum infraction, possibly banned from the shoutbox all together, and if it continues then it can even lead to being banned from the forum!!!!

These Rules may change and or be updated at anytime, make sure you check back to this thread once and awhile to keep yourself updated on what to follow.

GFX related links as long as there in link form only is allowed, but re-directed links to websites are what we are talking about. so any link that goes off gamerzneeds to another website is not to be placed in the shoutbox.

As fare as youtube links they are only to be used if the youtube video is related to GzN or its like a members video that has some kind of importance.

No more spamming youtube links that are pointless and aren't made by you, so yes in most cases youtube links are no exception. they are a link that re-directs you out of GzN so like i said unless you made the youtube video and it relates to GzN and or it has some type of importance then they are not allowed!!!!

The only type of links that should really be in the shoutbox is like a thread of yours that you want people to check out on the forum, but you are not to spam that link like 5 times a minute, so as long as you don't abuse it then you can give links to your threads on the forum in the shoutbox
