RuneScape needs to update they better update something good like LineAge or WoW. but i doubt they will ever get to those good graphics.

Maybe within a few years, you never know.

If there is ever a RuneScape 3 coming out
where you need to Download RuneScape Client
to play and have graphics like World Of Warcraft, etc.

Then RuneScape would so freaken own!

I remember runescape got an amount of like 200.000 ppl playing, they lost many of the update at 21-12-2007, they lost me too, maybe i get some play again lol, hope the graphics will be alot better.

im not a big fan of graphic updates, lags the comp more, and makes bots work harder

It's a browser game.. how much "harder" can the computer lag? xD

These effects will be achieved by multiple different graphical modifications. These effects will include:

Texturizing - "Mod Farley says, “For example, previously, a brown surface could have been depicting mud, wood or clay, its actual substance only being derivable from context, but with textures, it's easy to tell apart a muddy path, wood flooring or a clay object at a glance.“"

Premium Blending - "Mod Farley says, “Previously, paths had very hard edges, which showed up how we built the world. Now, with softer path blending, things look more organic.”"

Shadowing - "Mod Nick says, “Different areas will be sunny or gloomy, and shadows are created dynamically.” Different areas will be set at varying times of the day, subtly changing between map squares, allowing us to create specific atmospheres in each area. For instance, certain parts of Morytania now live within a permanent shadowy twilight...appropriately spooky for those living under vampyric oppression."

I doubt it, runescape was meant for the bad computers around here, so everyone could enjoy it . If they make it like WoW, they'll have less players on o.O

True, but there will be still be choices where
you could still play in the Browser.

But you do see how many people play
World of Warcraft right?

One thing i hate abt runescape ...is the no .of non-member quests !It 's been years since they added one for non - members!

The Update was just a security Update.
