What is Scions of Fate?

There are two types of people in the world. People that know Scions of Fate and people that don’t.

People from ages 10 all the way to30 have been entranced by Scions of Fate. From its journey as a comic to online MMORPG, Scions of Fate has always combined the mystical world of martial arts with comic art and light, airy humor. Scions of Fate is a game that people of all ages and all walks of life can enjoy.

The cute characters, the beautiful pastel-tone character pics, the diverse range of emoticons, the deadly but beautiful combat skills, all contribute to the Scions of Fate game experience. Even more precious are the communal experiences that players share together as they’re battling monsters, growing together like a family.

The scope of this original work is complex, yet light and entertaining. From the conflict between The Order and Chaos, to the blossoming romance that takes place in the midst of this world, all the elements of the story mesh together to form a very unique and emotional journey for all players.

Game features:

Logging into the game, you¡¯ll notice a small platform in the center. If you have a character made, you¡¯ll see them hanging around. Upon choosing, they¡¯ll jump high and fall down face first on the platform (Talk about painful character choosing). Six jobs will be available to choose right away and from the character creating menu, you can change the appearance of your character. Choosing on a gender will generally be based on your registration.

Currently, there are five Character Jobs available. They are the Blade, Swordsman, Spearman, Bowman, and Healer. The Blade is considered as the Knight of the game. It has strong armors and decent melee skills. The Swordsman on the other hand is considered as the fast melee attacker. It has skills which comprises of different combo attacks. The strong damage dealer Spearman is armed with the spear, it can pierce through the strongest armors and enemies. With regards to long range attacks the Bowman comes into play. It excels on the player versus monster combat. The Healer, on the other hand, has two functions. It can be an attacker with the use of strong magic and a supporter at the same time, it uses staves which shoot out balls of energy when used normally. The Healer is also considered as a Mage.

The world is divided by two factions, The Order and Chaos. When a character reaches level 40 and during the 2nd Promotional quest, it will be the time he/she will choose whether to follow the path of The Order or the path of Chaos. Each faction has specified skills, clothing, and weapons.

Since we are talking about utensils on killing monsters, let¡¯s move on to the sophisticated Battle system. There are two types of attacking, the basic attack and the skill attacks. On the basic attack we have the boring normal attack, but during the course of the normal attack, your character might perform an awesome display of combo attacks. It can also induce critical attack, this attack is just like a normal attack but the damage is far more greater than it. The skill attack on the other hand only has 2 types of skill attack. The basic skill attack and the combo skill attack which is highly programmable via the skill window.

With regards to stats, you don¡¯t really have to bother planning for it. Every time you level up, you mature your stats automatically. However, you gain Ability points of which you can freely distribute to which ability you need. Ability is a passive element of your character and it varies from character job to character job. There are about 10 abilities per character job. However you will only have 5 basic abilities. Your abilities will be added one by one per class promotion. The final ability can be obtained via a Level 90 quest. This is usually the best ability.

You can actually plan out your abilities earlier on by looking on the website. Each job promotion will not force you to use your ability points. Remember, these abilities are passive and cannot be used. Abilities are pretty much different from Skills. Your skills on the other hand is not limited to skill points. It has a Ki system meaning each skill corresponds an amount of Ki. You gain Ki by leveling up and killing monsters.

Companions
One awesome feature of this game is the Pet feature. Currently, there are 4 pets available and each pet corresponds to unique abilities. What¡¯s cool is that you can dress up and even mount at your pet if it is mountable. The Cat is popular amongst women players, it has high accuracy and dodge and it can increase max HP. The Leopard on the other hand is a strong attacker and accurate. It has an option for you to be able to ride on it, same with the Tiger. The Tiger has a high defense and HP and a fair melee attack damage. It is regarded as the most expensive to maintain. And last but definitely not the least is the Hawk. This birdy has a high skill attack and normal attack but low on HP and defense. It¡¯s the only pet that can fly.
