Ok, I thought I would write a guide on how to get silkroad.
This guide was made completely 100% by me.
Its a reasonably easy proccess.
---What is Silkroad online? (SRO)---
Silkroad is a free to play MMORPG (Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game).
The game is based on the theme of the chinese silkroad.

The pvp system is fairly straight forward.
Basically there is the thief, the trader, and the hunter.
The traders role is to buy goods in one city and take the goods on transport to the next city. Sounds easy? Well, while that happens, there will be thiefs. The thiefs role is to steal the goods from the traders transport, by attacking the trader, and then taking the goods, via a return scroll to Bandit den. Meanwhile all this happens, hunters will be trying to protect the traders by killing the thieves. Trust me, it may sound complicated, but its fun

You must register a account first to get to downloading it.
The download file is around 500mb, depending on which update you are on.
---Downloaded, now what?---
From here on, its pretty straight forward.
Just run the installer, wait at the "Please wait" sign, and after a while it should come up with the installer.
Choose the directory you want to install to (Default is fine).
Once installed, run the shortcut which should be on your desktop.
If its not there, no trouble, just go into windows explorer and navigate to the directory you installed the game to, then run the "Silkroad" file, it should launch a launcher, wait a while for the start button, and click start and away we go!
Wait for the login screen to load, takes different amounts of time depending on your pc/network speed
When at the login screen, type in the id+pw you registered earlier with and select a server, pick any server, but I suggest that if there is one that says next to it "Populated", choose that
---I tried to login, but it said server traffic and I got disconnected?!?---
Calm down, this is usual, at peek times, you may not be able to login due to server traffic. If you get disconnected, just run the silkroad launcher again and press start and continue the proccess until logged in
---So, I'm in, now what?---
Well, first off, you need to create a character. Your probably best off reading guides on which kind of character to start, and choosing which character you think suits you best =D
---Any guides about quests, etc?---
Most of the FAQ's are featured in silkroads help guide (Just press 'h' to view).
Although, if not search the forums, or create a thread, or even pm me.
