Setting up Shortcuts to the Client.Exe (to enable playing multiple accounts)
Please note that using the Client.exe to run the game is not supported by EA. You are always advised to run the game using the TSO.exe.
If you are running TSO from the new EALand setup do the following:
* Right click your start button and select explore.
* Go to the Directory/Folder - "C:Program FilesElectronic ArtsEALandTSOClient"
* Right click on the TSOClient.exe and select "Create Shortcut".
* Go to the new shortcut called "Shortcut to TSOClient.exe" and click on the text part once, then again slowly and type in a name you want like "TC3".
* Right click on the "Shortcut" and then select "properties" and the top window is "Target".
* Go to the far right quote mark where it says "C:Program FilesElectronic ArtsEALandTSOClientTSOClient.exe"
* After the quote mark add a space and type -w so that the text in the window now looks like this "C:Program FilesElectronic ArtsEALandTSOClientTSOClient.exe"" -w
* Click the "Apply" button, then the "OK" button.
* Drag this new icon to your desktop.
* Start TSO and play in windowed mode. If you are running TSO from previous downloads or original game CD
* Right click your start button and select explore.
* Go to the Directory/Folder - "C:Program FilesMaxisThe Sims OnlineTSOClient"
* Right click on the TSOClient.exe and select "Create Shortcut".
* Go to the new shortcut called "Shortcut to TSOClient.exe" and click on the text part once, then again slowly and type in a name you want like "TC3".
* Right click on the "Shortcut" and then select "properties" and the top window is "Target".
* Go to the far right quote mark where it says "C:Program FilesMaxisThe Sims OnlineTSOClientTSOClient.exe"

* Start TSO and play in windowed mode.
