I guess, any language, you can create your own GUI.
You might need some good GFX, but other than that, any language will do.

Yeah, I didn't know and I asked Morag about it and he told me that it is simple GUI. I have never really had to do the GUI stuff...I always had my friend do it.

Use photoshop the one with the thick book. Buy it and it will teach you alot of cool tricks.

recommends vb , simple enough if u want a program with ur images for the GUI
easy to load stuff into resources , so there is less lag.
also, u can stuff images into almost anything (forms , pictureboxes)

If you want an easy way to make a windows app, just use Visual Studio's form creator. Evaluate Visual Studio 2008 Professional today
This is a trial, but Visual Studio in general is a very comprehensive development environment -- I haven't run into any problems with it, even when I had to tweak assembly code.
You'll need to know a .NET programming language for this, but they're relatively easy to learn if you have a background in a C-based language or JAVA.
