This thread is pretty straight forward, I've been reading a bunch of these threads, about if you should have the retail or not.

Chances of you getting caught messing around with the game... are pretty much 99% of the time.

I know... Because I was messing around with it.. and got off really really lucky.

List of things I tried.

Speeding it up. Failed miserably, Why? Considering most of the files are server side, You can't speed it up, failed miserably at that. Only sped up the client side.

Super jump... Really fun but really stupid wierd. You can jump from UC to Silvermoon and you WILL be attacked like a mofo.. Wierd but makes sense considering it's kinda client side in a sense. but the sever still reads you as... "Multijumping" but as the client reads, Uber long jump.

Mass track.... Haha I really couldn't stop laughing at the minimap spamm of dots... kinda sucked. Only used for herbs and random crap to farm.

Teleport. Super lame. Can only go about 20 yards in any direction otherwise you glitch out faster to Walk/Run/Regmount/fastmount/flying/epicfly

Hp/MP edit.... Oh gawd don't get me started on that, tried it worked for about 5 seconds crashed the game and locked me in for an hour.

Equipment edit. That was uber fun. Change the stats, all the other crap. Didn't work serverside for attack random crap but was fun to run around in tier 6 and your the only one who sees it..

Totaly penelty spent? 72 suspension. why? Because I didn't use it to really benifit my character and had a GM messege me and I explained what I was doing. Final warning :P


Private server, sure do it up all you want? I don't really see why cause if you become a gm or friend of GM insta level 70 (+???) I donno don't play private. heard it crashed alot.

It is true you need some uber lame bypass from someone who sits in his basement for 10 years... Thought so private servers are stable those 24/7 are lies the best ive seen is 23/7 cause the server was offline 6-7 hours a week.

Yea no kidding I don't like private servers too much but I was thinking about making one for my friends and I all of us gms my laptop is on.... 24/7 lol :P and I guess it would run that much :P

I unno I don't really care I'm a 62 Feral dps druid. Meh Been playing on an off ever since it came out

Druid = main and a few other alts 30+ I play it maybe.... 3 times a week at most? But yea if you are hardcore into it... and don't want to risk losing your awsome overpowered hunter or uber warlock or something wicked... DOn't hack it up lol not worth it.

I am proof that you can and will get banned for it, although I got REALLY lucky for it.

Please save all your hacking needs on a private server, the GMs there don't care :P

true.. i got 4 accounts banned on account of hacking.. nothing you want to do when CD keys are 20+ a pop... anyways private server do blow.. made my own and friend made his.. unless youre like... Really into being able to pwn any mob easily. nto worth it either... dont hack WoW its fun either way.. ur choice tho not much anyone can say to you about it unless they are admins.. -.-

I don't like going to other peoples private servers and I only like making my own for like a week before ill turn it off and go back to retail. All those hacks are practically useless. You forgot mountain climb though its OK if you want to get somewhere quick (ex. Boss of some instance) and you forgot no clip which is the same thing as the no clip in CS, CZ, CSS. A long time ago there used to be gold dupes and bugged items (+999999 to everything) but they failed miserably and all those accounts were banned. Hacking on retail servers is to risky there is more GM's watching you and then theres warden plus if you get banned and you had a TBC account then if your going to want to play again your going to have to buy both the original and TBC again... Not worth it for such lame hacks IMO.

You sir are correct, unless they have alot of money and dont care a crap about spending it, or destroying a perfectly good game on account of some immature stuff. now if its to help benefit more then one person (ie. guild, realm, the game in whole.) id say go for it, make it better, and may the gods be with you on that.

or you could just hack with a trial account wich can be gotten for free on the world of warcraft website

Hacking a pserver is better than a trial account.
