Gameplay: 9/10Very good, quite an improvement from the last. There are actual button combinations now (As in [] [] [] [] /\ and such). More objects to destroy (>:D) which is a plus.
During a fight, there are MANY things you can do, such as teleport behind your opponent and SMASH them, slam opponents away, charge your attacks (Awesome), and many more. Once you get to the yellow bars you even start to get tired (Which hasn't changed from the last, but it's neat.).
And they even have IN GAME TRANSFORMATIONS! Yes, that's right. But for those who don't like IGT's, you can turn them off. A very customizable game, if I do say so myself.
Graphics: 10/10The graphics are amazing! There is so much detail on objects, that it makes you wonder if your still playing it on a PS2! lol! During battle, if you look at the water, you can see it shimmer and shine a bit every now and again. Very impressive.
Story Line: 7/10Same ol', same ol'. You go through each of the sagas and beat the same enemies. Woop. The only change is that they added more movies to it, but they were a bit boring. Although the what-if's are pretty interesting.
Music: 8/10Yay for getting rid of recycled music! They actually have new songs! Some are quite good, and others...well...they don't fit the "DBZ experience" very well, in my opinion. A lot of people say they should add in music from the show, but I, personally, don't care that much. It'd be neat if they did though. Meh.
Controls: 7/10The reason I rate it at 7 is because you'd better hope to God that you know the basic controls from the last. For new gamers, you'd better look at the two-hour long tutorial. Good luck. @__@
But for those who do know the basic controls, there still, is a lot more to learn. So it's best if everyone went through the tutorial first. The controls do grow on you though. Soon...
Replay Value: 7/10Well...as most fighting games go...after you've unlocked everything, you're pretty much done and you have nothing to do. But, you can always have exciting 5 vs 5 battles with the new tag team system. Those are pretty fun for a while.
What I like to do, if I don't have any friends to invite over at the time, is go into practice mode and have endless battles with the computer. It's actually quite entertaining. >_>
Overall
Very good game! For DBZ fans and non-DBZ fans alike! Any fighting game fan would most likely like this.
Have fun!
