US, December 10, 2009 - We'll learn more about Halo: Reach this weekend when it is formally unveiled at the Spike TV Video Game Awards and it appears that will signal the opening of the flood gates. Bungie has updated its project page for Halo: Reach offering a new Intel section and the foundation for much more info to come. The promise is that extra content will be added to the page in 2010.
Currently listed as "classified" are sections for Personnel, Ordinance, and Enemies. You can also browse some unclassified info about the details of the planet Reach, humanity's military stronghold and the setting for the next Halo game. Fun fact: Reach has 1,246 airports.
Does the classified status of the Ordinance and Enemies tabs indicate that we'll be using new weapons against some alien member of the Covenant not previously detailed in the fiction? Or is that simply a tease to encourage us to come back for more? We'll know soon enough.
