According to the information listed on Sony’s Consumer Electronics Show website, Sony is planning to reveal the ability to use Skype on the PSP.  This would be big news to PSP owners, depending on how well integrated Skype is into the PSP.

Skype, which is one of the most popular internet phone services, would allow PSP owners to make calls using their PSP.  Of course, if it were simple enough, using the PSP could probably sometimes replace the need for a cellphone or allow users to budget their cellphone minutes by deferring to Skype when possible.
