Rock Band DLC: All That Remains Track Pack
Posted by Rei, 77 days ago 07/09/2008

After a week of benevolent nerdcore fan-service, Harmonix is shifting gears and giving metalcore fans a shot in the arm. Next week’s Rock Band DLC will offer a three-song track pack for All That Remains, featuring two new songs from their forthcoming new album, Overcome, and one from their 2006 album, The Fall of Ideals. The songs include (all master recordings):

  • "This Calling"
  • "Chiron"
  • "Two Weeks"

The track pack will hit the Xbox Live Marketplace on September 9 and the PlayStation Network on September 11, which will actually make the two new songs -- "Chiron" and "Two Weeks" -- exclusive to Rock Band for a week, before Overcome releases on September 16. The pricing for the songs will be set at a special discount rate for the first month, with the pack costing $2.99 (240 Microsoft Points) and each song individually costing $0.99 (80 points). Presumably, that means the pricing will bump up to the usual $1.99 per song and $5.50 per pack after the first month, although Harmonix didn’t specify that in the announcement. Either way, if you’re fan, might as well get the songs while they’re cheap.
