Proving that they’ve still got cool muscles to flex whenever they like, Sony have released a list of publisher houses churning out HOME furniture, I mean content.
HOME is Sony’s hopeful ace up the sleeve when it comes to offering an interactive and social online environment for PS3 gamers to chill, boast and hook up for multiplayer.
Whether or not the damn thing will ever get truly released is another matter, what with its constant delays and such. Here’s the list:
Irem Software Engineering
Activision
Acquire
Atlus
Walt Disney Japan
AQ Interactive
SNK Playmore
Capcom
Gung Ho Online Entertainment
Q Entertainment
Game Republic
Genki
Koei
Konami Digital Entertainment
Spike
Sega
D3 Publisher
Tecmo
Nippon Ichi Software
Paon
Hudson
Bandai Namco
Ubisoft
As IGN pointed out there’s a distinctive lack of Square Enix’s presence in that list... oh dear. Sony naturally plans a crap load of HOME gear for upcoming franchises like Resi Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV; I doubt many IPs will be left unmolested by HOME.
